Apparently, I am an Expert in World of Warcraft.

According to the internet, you can become an expert at something with about 10,000 hours invested.

Well, I just added up all my /played time and guess what guys, apparently I’m a World of Warcraft expert.

In name only, though!!! I’m not as knowledgeable as some, but I do know a thing or two about this game.

It’s been about 12 years since I started playing. In March 2008, I finally had enough money to purchase a computer, the game, and the monthly fee. It was only barely enough, but I had it! And guess what I did with the bit of money I had? I got into WOW as soon as I could, of course.

I remember having two friends who had the beta, and I had been playing Runescape for years by then. I was ready for the real deal, the best MMO out there.

I loaded up the game and began my first character—a baddie (the horde), an undead mage! But of course, my roommate informed me that all of the people we knew in real life played alliance on a different server.

So I switched to Alliance and picked a warlock. I was informed that fear was “the shit” and also that leveling would be much easier with my blueberry friend.

The rest is history.

Here is my main:

Neaveeh, Human, Warlock

Favorite spec: Destruction. Ever since ICC, I have been a destruction lock main. I have only dabbled in demonology once in a while, and I hate affliction!

Total Time Played: 196 days, 10 hours, 34 minutes, 41 seconds (and counting)

Check her out Neaveeh on WOW Armory Like I said I haven’t been very active in the last ten years but I still enjoy being a casual.

Other Notable WOW characters of mine:

Neav, Human, Paladin

Favorite Spec: Holy

Total Time Played: 81 days, 23 hours, 34 minutes (and counting)

Check out Neav on the WOW armory

I leveled her to raid ICC since we always had difficulty finding healers.

Neavie, Night Elf, Priest

Favorite Spec: disc, but have to be holy due to not playing her that much lately. Disc is hard for someone who doesn’t play all the time.

Total Time Played: 51 days 20 hours 13 minutes

Check out Neavie on the WOW armory.

Neavie was a human until I got some toy that changed me into a night elf and I LOVED the movements. Since then they have changed all the character movements and I don’t like them as much but I’m so cheap to buy for a race change again.

Yes, I am a Warcraft Expert…

I have 27 characters across 4 servers. Many of these characters were started and played back in 2010, when I played WOW for a full year every day. Since then, I have just focused on being a dirty casual on my main server and some of the top 10 ones on my main server.

As of 04/26/2020, these characters’ hours total 11,949 hours of play time. Most of that is AFK, though, I swear!

I am not saying I’m an expert but damn, I have some time into this game!
